Here’s some news: whether you’re an expat or simply a French speaker, we now ship to many countries outside of France:

Since we’ve received several requests regarding this, we’re pleased to announce that the Pingtipong website now ships to many countries abroad. If you’re an expat, you can send gifts through our website. We wanted to launch this service before Christmas, and we’ve done it. Since the website is currently available only in French, we’re targeting an exclusively French-speaking customer base.

We’re thinking a lot about our expats, who during this Christmas season might want to bring a little bit of French craftsmanship home. France has more to offer than just foie gras and fine wine—and that’s precisely why we regularly expand our “Made in France” jewelry section with new pieces and new French designers.

 

If you, too, have seen a piece of jewelry that you really like and would like to own something made in France, that’s now possible.

We’re obviously targeting women, but we’re also reaching out to men with certain pieces from L by L’AVARE that work just as well for men as they do for women.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address at the time you complete your order. The package is delivered upon signature and can be tracked.

To give you an idea of the cost, shipping to the farthest—and therefore most expensive—countries currently costs €26.40 via La Poste Colis International or Colissimo. That’s a very reasonable price to get a package to the other side of the world,

 

VAT Exemptions in the Eurozone

 

VAT on jewelry for countries in the Eurozone:

For jewelry shipments within the Eurozone: The process is the same as in France—you pay French VAT and do not pay upon delivery.

 

VAT on jewelry for countries in the Eurozone:

For jewelry shipments to the following countries: Singapore, Japan, China, the United States, Canada, and Australia.

When you place an order, we ask for your shipping address. If that shipping address is outside the Eurozone, we exclude VAT.

All prices shown include French VAT, so you’ll pay less than the listed price. Specifically, on the website, once you’ve finalized your order by entering the shipping addresses, delivery method, etc., you’ll see an order summary screen just before final confirmation. This screen shows your entire order, including any applicable taxes; for example, for delivery to Singapore or the United States, the VAT is set to 0 as appropriate.
