Christine Alloing is a designer from Lyon who makes all her creations by hand in her home. She works with white and black clays, then enamels them and bakes them at 800°.
It is this high-temperature firing that gives all the depth to the colour of the jewel. The black or white clay mixes with the enamel and gives it its reflections and variations. That's why each piece is unique.
